Happy Fourth of July!

Happy Fourth of July!

Happy Fourth of July!

I want to wish those of you a happy and safe Independence Day!

Bill and I are back from our two-week long birthday celebration trip to Southern California and have both been busy playing catch-up since returning home earlier this week.

I look forward to telling you all about our road trip! It was a wonderfully fun and relaxing vacation, just what he (and I) wanted. I am so glad we were able to get away to celebrate his milestone birthday.

This is my very favorite photo from our trip. Bill finally got the chance to try paddle boarding on the morning of his 50th birthday. He picked the biggest one he could find to rent and I got to try it with him.

Can you believe how enormous it is? My husband is 6′ 7″!

We are sticking close to home this Independence Day, watching our local hometown parade and going to a friends’ in the afternoon for a BBQ. I plan on dressing simply then adding some festive accessories – including this cobalt blue Adora clutch (that comes with the Adora bag) –  and some bright red lipstick to show my patriotic spirit!

Speaking of clutches, don’t forget that How I Wear My: Clutch is happening next week!

How I Wear My Badge

Send a photo of how you style your clutch to howiwearmy@yahoo.com by the end of the day on Monday, July 6th. Please don’t forget to include a description of your look. For more details on HIWM, visit the How I Wear My page. The post goes live Wednesday morning, July 8th! Jill of Everything Just So and I can’t wait to see how you wear your clutch!

What are your Fourth of July plans?

Make it a rich day!
