Styling Covered Perfectly Tops

When I think about the pieces in my closet I wear the most, my Covered Perfectly tops are right up there with jeans.  They have become an essential part of my wardrobe for casual, sporty, dressed-up and professional looks.

Soft and durable fabric, longer than average bodice length, saturated colors and flattering necklines and sleeve-lengths make these the foundational tops what I reach for the most. At a great price point, I can add different colors and styles to my wardrobe without breaking the bank.

And I love supporting small, women-owned businesses like Covered Perfectly. Creator and owner, Pauline, is delight to work with and really listens to and values her many loyal customers.

I’ve been wearing Covered Perfectly tops for couple of years. In fact I still wear my very first Covered Perfectly top, a Simple Comfort with 3/4 length sleeves, which has gotten quite a workout since I wrote my first review back in February 2014.

Today, I am showing you how I style three different Covered Perfectly tops. I wore my favorite black pants, these Stella Carakasi Love The Look Leggings (now on sale) with suede ankle-tie pumps from Sole Society in each look.

This Long Sleeved Simple Comfort in black is my favorite Covered Perfectly top. It is ideal for layering, which I do a lot of especially this time of year. I often put this top to work as a foundational piece to create lots of different outfits (similar to what I did in this post, before I owned this fantastic top).

For this professional or going-out look, I added a trench vest I bought in Seattle last fall (similar) and a long skinny scarf I’ve had for ages (similar).

I wore my new bracelet, custom made for me by Kay and Star.

For my next look, I created a date-night outfit with a black Off-the-Shoulder Top from Covered Perfectly. This top allows me to show a bit of skin without revealing too much. I never feel over-exposed when baring a bit of shoulder.

A short chain with a gold medallion and my new favorite bag – tassel clutch by Rebecca Minkoff – finish off my look.

My final look includes the Long Sleeved Simple V top by Covered Perfectly. I wore it with a long tunic, worn open. This top is great for sporty looks too. I often reach for it when I go for a walk and out to coffee with a girlfriend.

I added a metallic, black and white tassel necklace by Kay and Star to elongate my look.
