My husband and I are packing our overnight bags and heading to Sonoma to check out the newly renovated The Lodge at Sonoma Renaissance Resort & Spa, for a spring escape.
I stayed at The Lodge Sonoma a few years ago and frequently visit their chic and spacious Bean & Bottle Marketplace to enjoy a cappuccino or a glass of wine and, depending on the season, either cozy up to their fireplace or enjoy the sunshine on their outdoor patio.
After a day of roaming around Sonoma Plaza and relaxing on the hotel’s luxurious property, Bill and I will be dining at Carneros Bistro. This award-winning restaurant offers farm-to-table fare in an elegant and relaxing setting.
Tomorrow morning, after a workout in their spacious gym, I will be spoiled with a massage at The Spa at Renaissance Sonoma. What a fabulous way to start off the day!
The Lodge Sonoma is conveniently located close to charming Sonoma Plaza, dozens of wineries, hiking and biking trails and more. Or stay on the property and take advantage of its many luxurious amenities, including a gorgeous pool.
While our current spring weather may not allow us to hang out poolside today, we will certainly take advantage of the hot tub and enjoy a glass of wine while getting comfy on one of their inviting outdoor sofas.
Follow along during my stay on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook. I’ll be using hastags #thelodgesonoma #renhotels – I can’t wait to see their new rooms and will be sure to post some photos when I arrive!
