Happy Fourth of July and an Embellishment Reminder

Happy Fourth of July and an Embellishment Reminder

Happy Fourth of July to my US readers! 🇺🇸 ⭐️🎆

And to my Canadian readers, who celebrated 150 years on July 1st, happy Canada Day! 🇨🇦

We don’t have any plans for the Fourth of July this year. I am welcoming some quiet time around the house after last month’s whirlwind of travel. Bill and I will putter around on some home projects, maybe take a hike or go for a bike ride, and enjoy some gardening time. I will cook a few dishes for the week and get some writing done.

If  we did have plans, I would definitely wear my off-the-shoulder denim maxi dress (similar) and gingham scarf outfit that I wore in this post last year.

I have lots to share with you in the coming weeks including posts about my recent trips, winery visits, some new outfits, and a beauty post I didn’t think I would ever write!  Until then have a wonderful Fourth of July, if you’re celebrating, and don’t forget the next How I Wear My is happening soon.

The theme for July is Embellishment. Think looks featuring clothing, shoes, handbags, or scarves with embroidery, tassels, pom-poms, beading, sequins, patches, bows, and the like.

Jill of Everything Just So and I can’t wait to see how you style and outfit featuring embellishment!

Email a photo of you in an outfit including an embellishment – or ten – to howiwearmy@yahoo.com by the end of the day July 10, 2017. The posts will go live on my blog and Jill’s on July 12th.
