Whole Foods Market Beauty Week and Brunch Celebration

Today I am sharing highlights from the Whole Foods Market Beauty Week and Brunch Celebration at Whole Foods Market Coddingtown in Santa Rosa that I attended recently.

This exclusive Welcome Brunch kicked off their annual Beauty Week promotion, which gives customers the opportunity to buy their favorite clean beauty products at a 25% discount from March 21st through March 27th.

The discount includes all cosmetics, facial care and hair care products sold at North Bay Whole Foods Markets as well as other participating Whole Foods locations (check your local Whole Foods for more information).

Pre-ordering is going on now so place your orders soon if you want to make sure your products aren’t sold out. The sale officially begins March 21st (that’s this Wednesday) and runs through March 27th.

A few weeks before the brunch, three other North Bay influencers and I were invited to share our favorite clean beauty products from Whole Foods Market. I chose Dr. Hauschka’s Foundation and Lipstick, Cocokind’s Macabeet, and Jet Volumizing mascara from Mineral Fusion.

Also asked to share favorites are, from left to right, Amber Lucas of AMused Blog, Shana Bull of Shana Bull, Digital Marketing and Erika Altes of Whiskey and Lace.

Our picks are currently highlighted in all North Bay Area Whole Foods Markets. If you’re in the area, stop in and check out all our favorite beauty products. Just look for the tags with our names and photos on them.

Whole Foods Market Beauty Week Brunch

The brunch took place at the Tap Room inside Whole Foods Market. The Tap Room serves a variety of beers on draft and they serve lunch, appetizers and have an all day happy hour on Sundays.

My stepdaughter Tori, who was in town visiting from Oregon, attended the brunch with me. When we arrived, we immediately noticed how gorgeous the table setting was.

Amber and Kristen, part of the Whole Foods’ marketing and communications team in the North Bay, spearheaded the event. Amber designed the tablescape and the menu for our special celebration.

The color scheme was rose pink, cream and gold with pops of green and purple from the flower arrangements. It was such a beautiful and glamorous table, perfect for a spring beauty brunch.

As soon as we arrived, Tori and I started taking photos, as we bloggers and influencers do. As other guests trickled in, we mingled and sipped mimosas.

Soon we would sit down at the gorgeous table to enjoy brunch together!

The Brunch Menu

Once we were seated, we enjoyed our Honey Berry Parfaits that were served in footed glass bowls. So elegant! The added drizzle of honey and fresh berries made it extra delicious.

While we were finishing our parfaits, platter after platter of food was brought out and placed on the buffet near our table. There were plates full of frittatas, wraps, donut bites, cream biscuits with mascarpone jam swirl, avocado toast, mushroom flat bread, and French macarons.

During our brunch, Kristen of Whole Foods spoke to our group. She welcomed us, talked about the annual Beauty Week event and told us we would have the opportunity to meet with vendors, try products and shop after brunch concluded.

Shayna of Evanhealy also spoke to us. She talked about their natural skincare line and how it’s created. In our gift bags, we were given samples of Evanhealy products, which have been using ever since and am now a big fan (more about that in a post soon).

Beauty Vendors and Demos

After brunch it was time for us to visit the beauty department at Whole Foods Market. Representatives from Dr. Hauschka was there and Shayna from Evanhealy had a table too.

Local makeup artist and friend Candace Tantarelli of Flaunt Makeup Artistry  was doing her magic on our brows with Pacifica products.

I asked Candace if she could give me some tips for better looking brows. She showed me with the end of a brush where my brows should be then used the dark brown shadow in the Pacifica Pink Nudes palette with some Pacifica Brow Gel to not only fill in places where my brows were thin but elongate the tails on my brows. The brow gel helps it all stay in place and not smudge.

I ordered the eye shadow palette and brow gel, along with a few more things, during the pre-order promotion and will be picking up my goodies this week. I am so excited!

Before the Whole Foods Market Beauty Week and Brunch Celebration event concluded, we gathered for a group photo.

What will you stock up on during Whole Foods Market Beauty Week?

Remember, Whole Foods Market Beauty Week starts March 21st and ends March 27th but pre-ordering is happening now. Visit North Bay Whole Foods locations to shop and pre-order.

Thank you to Amber, Kristen and Whole Foods Market for the invitation to a wonderful brunch. It was so fun to spend the morning with fellow North Bay influencers. The food and drinks were delicious and I loved learning more about and trying clean beauty products.

Hi Adrienne, looks as though you all had a great time and how lovely that Tori was able to go with you. Although the focus was obviously on the beauty products, your brunch looks wonderful … what a great selection, healthy and delicious! Intersting to see a prominent display of the Dr Hauschka Rose Day Cream that I mentioned a few weeks ago … I must buy some, to try it.
I hope you’re having a good week. Our weather has been crazy, enjoying coffee outside in the sun one day, below freezing and snowy the next!! We’ve had such bitterly cold winds as well …

      Hi Rosemary,

It was such a fun event! And I am so happy Tori was able to attend. The brunch was wonderful – Whole Foods has a catering department and they did a fantastic job. The mushroom flat bread pizza (forgot to take a photo) was my favorite. I also really loved the salmon roll ups.
Our weather has been wet most days the last couple of weeks. A few more rainy days, then it looks like warm sunny days ahead! Hope you are getting some sunshine soon.
      xo, A

It looks like fun. It never seems appealing to me to shop at Whole Foods for beauty products because (at mine anyway) everything is just up on shelves and no one to really advise. I know a lot of the products are great and I guess they’re realizing they need to find a way to better market their makeup.
Looks like a fun event and so glad Tori was there too.

I have had that experience too at the smaller Whole Foods locations but the one we were at in Santa Rosa always has one or two people there to help you with your questions. And there is one Whole Foods dedicated just to beauty – it’s in Sebastopol and I love it!
I was so happy Tori was invited to come too. We like sharing our clean makeup and skin care finds with each other. She’s the one who told me about Cocokind and the Macabeet stick I like to wear on my lips and cheeks.
