Rich Life Spring Makeover: Getting Ready for the Spring Luxe Event

Today is the BIG day! The Spring Luxe Event is just hours away. My friends at Stella Carakasi have been hard at work this week getting their Berkeley studio ready for guests and coordinating the final details. I’ve been getting prepared as well. The models are ready to go with the outfits they selected, my short speech is written, and I have a few helpers – my stepson, nephew and some friends – coming along…

Halo Blow Dry Bar

Last week I visited a blow dry bar for the first time.  Halo Blow Dry Bar, with four locations around the South Bay Area, offers 45-minute shampoo, blow-out and style sessions, makeup services and brow waxing. Women in Business: Holiday Gift Guides

I hope those of you who celebrated Thanksgiving Day enjoyed it as much as I did! We hosted my father-in-law and my step kids at our house. It was fun spending time in the kitchen with my husband for two days, cooking side-by-side. But it’s a lot of work, even with extra hands. I am so grateful I didn’t have to do it all alone. The good news is we have lots of leftovers (which means…
