Seven for Saturday

Happy weekend and welcome to this week’s Seven for Saturday! 🌸 1 ~ Spring has Sprung  Last Sunday Bill and I had some time off together so we decided to head to nearby Landmark Vineyards for a picnic with the dogs since the weather was so gorgeous and sunny. We love Landmark. Not only are their wines fantastic – mostly Pinot Noir and Chardonnay  – but the grounds are beautiful and full of flowers. There’s a…

Seven for Saturday

Welcome to this week’s Seven for Saturday ☀️Let’s get right to it! 1 ~ Kiss Me, I’m Irish! 🍀🇮🇪🌈 Happy St. Patrick’s Day! Bill and I won’t be joining the green-clad, beer drinking crowds at the pubs today but I will wear green and have homemade corned beef and cabbage because, unlike every St. Patty’s Day prior, I can say with full confidence, “Kiss me, I’m Irish”! I vaguely remember having a pair of corduroys in this muted yellow shade as a kid back in the 1970s, but have never worn this Dijon mustard hue as an adult. During my last visit to Stella Studio, I picked up this…

Positively Friday

What a week it’s been. There have been wonderful things happening lately in my own small world, but it’s often hard to feel the full extent of joy with so many tragic and senseless events occurring all over our planet. I am speaking specifically of the Malaysian Airlines plane shot down yesterday over the Ukraine, the ongoing unrest in the Middle East, and a horrifying bank robbery in here Northern California earlier this week, just to…
