My eldest stepdaughter, Kayla, was what they call “pinned” in the fire service during a big ceremony last Thursday. Memorial Day Weekend & Sheer Delights from Stella Carakasi

We had a quiet and productive Memorial Day weekend. I cooked, marketed, organized a few drawers and cabinets while Bill worked in the yard, planting our vegetable garden in the aluminum troughs he bought me for Mother’s Day. Positively Friday

For the first time in three weeks, Postively Friday is on a Friday! Here’s what was positive about my week: 1) Kayla, Bill’s eldest, passed her firefighter academy examinations with a 93/100.
